A hydrogel like Bactine™ MAX Advanced Healing + Scar Defense Hydrogel helps speed healing by protecting the skin injury from external contaminants and maintaining a moist environment.

We cannot recommend that Bactine^® be used for this purpose since body piercings are considered puncture wounds. Consumers should consult their doctor for the treatment of such wounds.
